It’s official, the kids LOVE Off Grid Festival!
As one pleased Mum wrote after 2012’s event:
As a family, we’ve never had such fun at a festival. We loved letting the kids roam free across the site, knowing that they were in a safe space to explore and discover. The games and kids activities were also brilliant, especially the bushcraft and forest skills stuff. They can’t wait to come back next time!
The 2016 activities will be no different. We’ve got a brilliant Kids Area coming together, produced by our veteran organisers, The LATE Club.
This will include crafts area, climbing walls, toddler play area and other activities. Also joining them this year is Rosie’s Rig – a trapeze offering free lessons to children as well as workshops for the grown-up kids amongst you….
Sylvan Adventures are also producing a very exciting woodland zone – The Wild Woods – with a great programme of activities for kids as well as adults. There’s forest school and fire-making, den-building, soft (and pointy!) archery, fireside storytelling, bat walks, green woodworking and more – all hidden away down a leafy lane on the edge of the event site.
And if all that’s not enough, there are tonnes of kid-friendly activities in other locations across the site. Why not try their hand at blacksmithing? Or helping build a cob oven? Build a clay model of themselves in the Serenity Field??
Family Tickets for Off Grid Festival (2 Adults, 2 Kids) cost £210. 5-15s cost £20 per child while Under-5s go free.
We also know that feeding kids at festivals can cost an arm and a leg. That’s why we offer a special kids meal pass for £18 for 10 kid-friendly meals from our site canteen.
