Introducing Dan Wiseman

May 17, 2018 by James Leave a Comment

Dan Wiseman of Wiseman Productions is one of Off Grid’s media partners and has been helping to document Off Grid Festivals with his beautiful and stirring films. He loves attending the Festival in this role and in his own life, is passionate about finding ways to live more sustainably, Eventually heʼd love to build his own eco home. His three children love the Festival, which is a great additon to their home schooling. Yes, Dan is always busy, but he tells us that’s the way he likes it! You will see Dan around the festival site, recording our musicians, speakers and workshops and getting a feel for the laid-back ambience that is uniquely Off Grid. Feel free to say hello, heʼs very friendly but may well try to nab a face-to-face interview!

A little more about Dan Wiseman…

Dan is a socially conscious film maker who has always had a keen interest in telling stories. He works on a variety of film projects including many with charities and trusts. In 2012 he completed a BA Hons in TV Production and in their first year, his company set up a film school for impoverished youngsters in St.Vincent and created content for the Olympics ICCI 360 degree cinema in Weymouth. He is now the video production co- ordinator for Exeter Respect Festival and produces issue-based films with Devon United Women and the Centre For Human Rights & Equality. Dan is a director on the board of NEWBIAS CIC, a Hip-Hop focused community interest company involved in music driven youth outreach programmes and he works pro bono on music videos for the socially conscious British Hip-Hop artist Carpetface.
