We did it!
Thanks to your amazing support, Off Grid Festival will be happening in 2016 due to the success of our crowd fund campaign. We have raised just over £7600 through the month long campaign, a combination of ticket purchases, membership sign-ups and larger sponsorships and donations. This is a fantastic result and a wonderful day for Off Grid and our burgeoning community.
We’re now looking forward to properly planning this year’s festival, booking amazing speakers, workshops, music and other content for the event, to be held from August 11th-14th at The Biophilia Project, Goffin Land, Exeter; a fantastic 96-acre haven on the edge of the city.
We’re currently assessing the results of the Crowdfunder including number of tickets and membership sold, before going live with the main bulk of our ticket sales and other products – meal tickets, child tickets, parking, etc.
So if I can find £75 for ticket to visit this amazing event , does this mean if you cannot raise enough funds the event will not go ahead? Will I then ‘loose’ my £75 ?
Hi Elaine,
I believe we’ve now discussed this by email, but, essentially the Crowdfunder is all-or-nothing, so no money is taken from purchasers unless the £6000 is raised. Once this is raised, the event will happen.
Please could you kindly clarify the differences in price and what comes with that difference?
Hi Tom,
The different prices of ticket (£55-£95) provide the same access to the event and same Membership, it’s just down to what you can afford. We try to make the event accessible to all (within reason) and ensure money is not a barrier to participation.
All the best,
Dan
Wondering about tickets for children? Will they be the same price? Thanks!
Hi Ros,
Tickets for Children will be £17.50 for 5-16 year olds. Adult counts as 17 upwards.
Thanks! So for a family of 4 with an 18 and 12year old would it be best to buy 3 tickets through the Crowd funding and then a child ticket when they are available ?
Yes, exactly 🙂
We decided it was too complex to offer kids tickets through the Crowdfunder. The 18 yr-old should pay the lowest adult price, really, to be fair.
Thanks for your support 🙂
Oops, posted that without being logged in! 😉
