We also offer free wine tasting workshops that explore biodynamic wine making which is how our ancestors grew food via the lunar phases of the moon. All natural. It also follows the 1924 lectures given by the creator of Biodynamic Agriculture, Rudolf Steiner. We give a brief insight into how the biodynamic farmer creates the best wine through special preparations for the earth, vine root, vine, leaves and how to ward off unwanted vine pests and disease. Biodynamic agriculture can be used in your garden, on your allotment and on our farms to create better tasting crops whilst looking after the soil.
“I am a fairly new start up and although I only took Cool Grapes to 2 festivals in 2017, we are now booked for 9 in 2018 as word has started to get around that there is a new, on-trend bar available, serving quality cruelty-free drinks. I have a huge passion for organic and biodynamic wine and want to help introduce people to this important choice that they can make when it comes to choosing their drink.
Our products are naturally lower in Sulphur and come from sustainable vineyards all over the world. Most bars at festivals sell cheap, mass produced beverages at high prices and very low quality. They are made in power plants that have little or no regard for our planet, for them, it is all about money, money and shareholders and nothing else.
Our beverages are hand picked from quality sustainable and often very small parcels of land where nature and man live in harmony and produce top quality products. I would like to introduce the choice to Off-Grid and their customers, so that they too, may enjoy these quality beverages, whilst also being able to join in and to learn about how their wine is made, where and by whom.” “I am a certified Sommelier and WSET L3 Advanced with Merit. I continue my wine studies to this day and I am currently studying for my Diploma with ambition to become one of only 400 Masters of Wine in the world.
