Mukti Mitchell is Managing Director of Mitchell & Dickinson, specialising in carbon savings through comprehensive insulation and advanced secondary glazing in period properties. Mukti has a background in carbon footprinting and energy auditing, and is one of Britain’s foremost experts in low carbon lifestyles. He designed and built an award winning zero-emission micro yacht and sailed around Britain in 2007 to promote low carbon living, endorsed by the Prince of Wales and the Prime Minister, reaching a media audience of 10 million. As a carpenter, Mukti has been restoring and insulating period properties for 25 years and has won many awards for his pioneering work in this field.
