“What would you do if the economic system collapsed tomorrow?”

The Tin Village at Off Grid Festival

The Tin Village at Off Grid Festival

That’s one of the questions that Off-Grid Festival seeks to ask of those that attend our events. As we have seen so frequently in recent years we are living within an extremely fragile political and economic structure. As the facade continues to fracture and fall, there is an ever-increasing requirement to build resilience and the parallel infrastructure that is needed for a flourishing, healthy society.

Off Grid seeks to explore the reality of transitioning to a new paradigm – both for individuals and for communities. Discovering, and re-discovering, a way of life that fully embraces our human ecology and our place in a sustainable, low-impact, future which could, if we make it so, be an environment where we do not struggle to survive, but where we thrive instead.

Soon, we will all be living off-grid. Better get used to it.

Nick Rosen (author of “How to Live Off-Grid”)

Thriving at Off Grid

Thriving at Off Grid

You can get skilled up at the celebrated ‘Off Grid College’, examine the myths that make up the way we see the world and meet those with clear visions for a better future with 4 days of radical and Inspiring Conferences. Explore our connection to the earth and each other in the Gaia Deep Ecology Dome. Network with paradigm changing projects across the country and join together with eco-pioneers and spiritual activists in the journey towards a balanced interdependence of all things, and a holistic low impact future. Take part in DIY Eco-Build projects and share practical knowledge both old and new in the Alt Tech and Craft Area.

Off Grid is a unique opportunity to hang out with beautiful, interesting, radical souls and get some nourishment at all levels.

William Bloom (Britain’s leading author and educator in the mind-body-spirit field).

Off Grid proposes that we are the architects of our realities and that we are responsible for shaping our world. It is about solution-finding, about building personal and community resilience in times of change. It is about us working together to make the world we want, even if only in microcosmic form. The 2016 event will bring together 300 committed activists and change-makers, those, like you, intent on showing that Another World is Possible and living it now.

To get involved in the 2016 event, please become a Member and support our Crowdfunder: www.crowdfunder.co.uk/off-grid-festival-2016

We need to raise £6000 by 21st April to ensure that the event can take place.
