Remember that at Off Grid under 5’s go completely FREE, whilst 5-15s cost just £20 per head – with full meal passes for children 5-16 for the entire weekend only £22 – Off Grid offers an outstanding and affordable sustainable summer holiday for all the family.

NEW FOR 2017: The World’s Smallest Solar Cinema – Just for kids! ‘The Moving Picture House’ is purpose built from recycled items. Its a solar powered cinema showing educational and entertaining films. It seats six in recyled luxury featuring real cinema seats and traditional cinema decor.

ContaKids Workshops
With Ruth Janssen
Two workshops daily
ContaKids is a group that gather for fun, movement and partnering games aimed especially for an adult and child duo. No special experience is required. Guiding you through your time is an experienced dancer with a passion for movement, children and families. Putting time aside to build trust, strength, team work, confidence and communication together
The session is 1 hour, in which we play lots of physical games. You are always in equal partnership with your little one while we move together as a group.
We dance, we swim and swoop, we go upside down, roll, jump, fall and run. Both Adult and child can expect to be challenged, make friends and have a lot of fun!
Ruth Janssen – Dancer / Teacher
For 15 years Ruth danced professionally with some of Britain’s leading dance makers, touring extensively nationally and internationally, and had work toured with dance and theatre companies in Britain and Italy, India and China, Malta and Finland. Ruth has worked for theatre companies Scottish Dance Theatre, Dundee Rep Ensemble, Mad Dogs Dance Theatre, Scarlattine Teatro and Gravity & Levity amoung others. As a dance and yoga teacher, Ruth has taught several professional dance companies regular company class including Scottish Dance Theatre and Phoenix Dance Theatre, and also guest lectured for vocational dance schools.
Ruth has practiced and taught Contact Improvisation and improvisation for over 10 years. When she heard about ContaKids it immediately made sense to go and train with Itay to bring it here to the South West. Ruth teaches pregnancy and postnatal yoga in Exeter, and is seeking to bring support and fun to familes with young children through movement, dance and yoga.
Marco Mazza – Dancer / Actor / Teacher
Marco Mazza trained in italy at the Viartisti theatre school. He studied dance, singing and acting. Over the years has worked with different theatre and dance companies including Jean Laurent Sasportes (Pina Bausch company), Duccio Bellugi Vannuccini (Theatre du soleil), Mauro Piombo (Commedia dell’arte), site specific performances with French company Ilotopie.
Marco’s interests in performance extend to outreach and community work, collaborating with various associations dealing with immigration and homlessness.
Marco founded and directed the two physical theatre companies Tecnologia Filosofica and Quarta Scimmia with whom he has developed his artistic style.
